The Pastry Art recipe for success was to target the wholesale markets of high-end hotels and stores with exquisite desserts created from scratch and delivered daily.

Starting out, they knew that the taste, texture and presentation of sample desserts could convince prospects of the quality, and assurances of consistent performance and reliable delivery would seal the deals.

But with an extensive selection over a broad range of styles and forms, Pastry Art also needed a promotional catalog to provide a ready-reference that their clients could use to tune and rotate their mix of offerings.

Outcome

When it comes to desserts, three certainties drive the high-end buyer’s decision: It has to look irresistibly appetizing. It has to taste fantastic. And it better have come from a scrupulously clean facility.

These assumptions informed Pastry Art’s clean and simple branding and the design and photography of its catalog. “Portraits” of desserts on the table emphasize the visual appeal of Pastry Art products, and silhouettes of the range of choice on a clean background hint at the healthy production facility where they are made.

Started from scratch, Pastry Art is now in its second successful decade of business.
