THE CHIMNEYS
Stately elegance north of Boston

Horizon-wide seascapes and the magical metronome of ocean waves

Opportunity

Historical elegance rarely comes on the market, and even more rarely does it come with a private ocean beach. Case in point: for 117 years, only two families have called The Chimneys home.

So a suitably refined prospectus was a given when the owners contemplated selling the completely renovated 13,000 square foot residence, its carriage house and 28 acres that include stately gardens restored to the original design of Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr.

Outcome

Classically understated, but modern branding reflects The Chimneys’ 175 year history. That aesthetic continues in the property prospectus.

Additionally, and as you would expect, a tasteful website presents the property. There is a twist, however.

The owners want to maintain a level of privacy both for themselves and the eventual purchasers, and also minimize access for the merely curious.

So while it provides an enticing overview of the property, the initial website is actually a gateway to a second, password-protected site that contains the full details. Interested parties are directed to contact the agent for full access.

This unique solution is a good example of how I tailor my work to the specific needs of my clients.
